Although sorghum rotis are mostly eaten in small quantities, sorghum is such a grain that its effect is cooling, along with this, it plays an important role in losing weight.
Sorghum is high in fiber, which proves to be very effective for diabetic and high blood pressure patients. Since sorghum is high in fiber, it is also useful for weight loss. Sorghum pulao:
Wash the sorghum overnight in water and soak it in the cooker for six to eight whistles. When the grains are cooked, heat the butter and oil in a pan. Then add cumin seeds, dugri, ginger, chilli paste, carrots, capsicum, coriander, cumin seeds, cumin seeds. Add the boiled sorghum, cumin seeds, all the spices and mix until the grains start to separate. Add coriander leaves and it is ready.
One bowl sorghum
Two tablespoons carrots, finely chopped
Two spoons of capsicum
Two spoons of cinnamon
Remove two spoons of tomato seeds
A teaspoon of chili paste
Half teaspoon of ginger paste
Two cloves, two cinnamon sticks, six peppercorns
One spoon of butter and one spoon of oil
Half a teaspoon of mustard
A teaspoon of red masala
Half a spoon of coriander cumin
Half a spoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of cumin.
Sorghum salad:
- 1 cup sorghum.
- 1 cup cucumber (chopped).
- 3/4 cup cherry tomatoes (chopped).
- 1/2 cup raw mango (chopped).
- 1 cup onion (chopped).
- 3/4 cup capsicum (chopped).
- 2-3 hot chilies (chopped).
- 3/4 cup carrots (chopped).
- 3/4 cup green onion leaves (chopped).
- Sea salt as per taste.
- 3-4 teaspoons sesame oil (cold pressed).
First soak the sorghum for 6-7 hours, add salt and 3 times the amount of water and boil it on low heat for 45 minutes. Mix the chopped salad in a wide bowl. Let the sorghum cool. Mix the sesame oil and mustard oil in the salad.
Mix sorghum in it, keep it aside for a while and serve.
